TV Subscriptions

Paying for your monthly TV subscription has never been easier!

Whether you are a Kwese or DSTV user, pay your TV subscription through PosoMoney. You will need your smart card/customer number to use this service.

DSTV

1.  Go to the “TV” option on the main menu
2. Select DSTV
3. Enter PIN
4. Enter account number
5. Enter smartcard number
6. Enter amount to be paid
7. Confirmation message of successful DSTV bill payment displayed

Kwese TV

Postal Services

To check your Postal Box balance;

1. Go to ‘postal services’ on the main menu
2. Select option of ‘post box’
3. Select option of ‘balance’ or ‘renew’
4. Select post box ‘balance’
5. Enter PIN
6. Enter branch code
7. Enter post box number
8. Message of balance outstanding displayed.

To renew your Postal Box

1. Go to ‘postal services’ on the main menu
2. Select option of ‘post box’
3. Select post box ‘renew’
4. Enter PIN
5. Enter branch code
6. Enter post box number
7. Confirmation of renewal of post box or private bag message.

Private Bag – Balance Check and Payment

To check your Private Bag balance

1. Go to ‘postal services’ on the main menu
2. Select option of ‘private bag’
3. Select option of ‘balance’ or ‘renew’
4. Select private bag ‘balance’
5. Enter PIN
6. Enter branch code
7. Enter private bag number
8. Message of balance outstanding displayed.

Insurance Premiums

Insurance is an exchange for payment for the transfer of risk of a loss from one entity to another. BotswanaPost has entered a partnership with various local insurance providers to bring the Motshidisi Funeral Plan and Mosako Funeral Plan.

Mosako Funeral Plan

BotswanaPost has collaborated with BotswanaLife to bring you the Mosako Funeral Plan. This funeral plan is primarily for individuals who do not meet the minimum salary requirements for other Botswana Life products.  It caters primarily  for those in jobs such as domestic workers, bus conductors, herd boys, gardeners, church organisations, industrial workers, individuals in the informal sector, self-employed persons etc. However, it does not exclude individuals outside this market segment.

Previously Mosako Funeral Plan premiums were mainly cash based and paid in advance at any post office throughout the country. Now you can check your balance and pay for your Mosako Funeral Plan premiums through PosoMoney. Customers can pay their premiums up to twelve (12) months in advance.

Motshidisi Funeral Plan

BotswanaPost has collaborated with Hollard Botswana to bring insurance services to the local community. An offering where customers are given an opportunity to purchase funeral cover to protect them against the unexpected expenses when they are faced with a loss of a loved one.

To Check Your Balance

1. Go to ‘insurance premiums’ option on the main menu
2. Select either ‘balance’ or ‘pay’
3. Select ‘Mosako or Motshidisi balance’
4. Enter PIN
5. Enter policy number of the insurance
6. Enter amount to be paid
7. Confirmation message of the balance

To Make a Payment

1. Go to ‘insurance premiums’ option on the main menu
2. Select either ‘balance’ or ‘pay’
3. Select ‘Mosako or Motshidisi pay’
4. Enter PIN
5. Enter policy number of the insurance
6. Enter amount
7. Confirmation message of successful payment
